Our Story

IT ALL STARTED WITH A CHEEKY PUP CALLED DION.

Yep! That doggo on the left has helped change 3,651 lives (and counting).

Our founder, psychologist Marijeta (Maz), used to bring Dion to the office. Maz loved that office. It had huge windows with mountain views, and paintings of the beach on the walls. Scented candles perfumed the air and nature sounds drifted softly out of the speakers.

But, something was missing...

One day, in a moment of stagnation with a client, Maz suggested they take Dion for a walk. This client had been struggling to incorporate exercise into her lifestyle, so Maz figured, why not just do it right now?

Therapy took on a completely different shape during their walk. The beautiful scenery, the fresh air, Dion, the movement: it all worked to motivate and inspire both Maz and her client. As the session ended, Maz could tell that this was exactly what was missing from her practice.

She went on to trial walk and talk therapy with other clients and the results were unbelievable. People were literally walking their way through problems, improving their health and getting more out of every session.

So, Maz (and Dion!) started a movement. After seeing firsthand how powerful outdoor therapy can be, Maz launched an "Outdoor Office" to share its benefits with you!
